The 'true grit' displayed by 17 yr old Kyle Rittenhouse reminded me of the young boy's faces in landing craft landing on the beaches of Normandy during the D-Day Invasion 6th June 1944. Average age 20, these 'boys' were scared to death, but had the 'grit' to do the right thing. In the face of the 3 who declared their intention to kill Kyle, he displayed maturity & steadfast determination uncommon in someone of such tender years.
