The world has been turned upside down. Ideals that were once considered liberal, free speech, rule of law and the Constitution, are now "conservative". Ideas that we once all knew were the worst sort of political insanity, censorship, authoritarianism, socialism and communism are now being called "liberal". I'd hate to have to explain this sorry state of affairs to Thomas Jefferson.
