Imagine being born in 1900.When you are 14 years oldWorld War 1 beginsand it ends when you 18with around 22 million dead.Shortly after a global pandemic,the Spanish fluHe kills 50 million people.You come out alive and free,and you're 20 years old.Then at the age of 29, you survive a global economic crisis that started with the collapse of the New York Stock Exchange causing inflation, unemployment, and hunger.You are now 33. Nazis are coming to power.You are 39 when World War II startsand it ends when you are 45 during the Holocaust 6 million Jews die.There was more than 60 million dead in total.When your 52nd Korean War starts.When you’re 64, the Vietnam War starts and ends when you’re 75. A year.A baby born in 1985 believes that his grandparents have no idea how hard life is,and survived several wars and disasters.A boy born in 1995 and 25 years old today believes that it's the end of the world when his Amazon package takes more than three days to arrive or if it doesn't exceed 15 "likes" for his published photo on Facebook or Instagram...In 2020. for years many of us live in comfort, have access to different sources of entertainment at home and often have more than we need.But people complain about everything.They have electricity, phone, food, hot water and a roof over their heads.But humanity has survived much more serious circumstances and has never lost the joy of life.Maybe it's time to be less selfish, stop whining and crying 👍 and remind the youth of today we are BRITISH 🇬🇧(Picture Emaciated British prisoners of war in a Japanese hospital for prisoners of war at Nakom Paton, Thailand, 1945)
