How about we put the "Flat Earth" theory to rest? Anyone having enough capital can charter two planes, have one depart East, one depart West, and have the two meet half way around the globe, preferably near the equator. Obviously it will take some logistics, but if it is done with satellite tracking, having the fuel, food, and extra pilots on hand, it is not an impossible task. North to South trajectory, well that may be a bit more challenging, due to the control of the airspace by the alleged "Powers that be...".
