Union Roller Skates from the 60's. If all you had to wear with them was Converse All-stars they were brutal.

JamminJamey The sKates I had were also hand-me downs, Didn't have that fancy cushioning on the toe clamps. After about the third day, I also hammered one of them flat, nailed it to a scrap of lumber and had me a skate board. lol

JamminJamey The last time I went skating was in my 20’s at a rink. I ended up breaking my ankle… good times!!

Mine were Chicago Roller Skates. We even had clamp one back in the 50’s and 60’s that clamped on. We would use leather strap and buckle toe straps to help keep them on.
