1/2 bulb of Onion
2 Tbsp of 7-Up Soda
1/3 cup of Soy Sauce
1/3 cup of Sesame Oil
3 Tbsp of Red Wine
2 Tbsp of Starch Syrup
2 Tbsp of Garlic, minced
1/2 tsp of Black Pepper
1/2 tsp of Green Tea Powder
3 Tbsp of Brown Sugar
2 1/2 lbs Flank Steak, sliced thin against the grain
Puree the onion and the soda together in a blender.
Place soy sauce, sesame oil, red wine, starch syrup,
minced garlic, black pepper, and the onion-soda
puree in a bowl and mix them together to make the
seasoning mix. Mix green tea powder and brown sugar
together with beef slices. Put the beef slices into
the bowl with the seasoning and mix together. Make
sure the meat is thoroughly mixed and soaked with the
seasoning. Cook in a preheated frying pan or broil on
high until desired doneness. Turn the pieces frequently
to prevent them from burning.
