Delta Home Health Care Owner Ruby Scott Convicted of $1.6M Medicare Fraud

Farmington Hills home health agency owner Ruby Scott was convicted in federal court for a $1.6 million Medicare fraud scheme.

Prosecutors said Scott, who owned Delta Home Health Care LLC, paid a hospital discharge nurse for patient information then billed Medicare using doctors who had never evaluated the patients.

Medicare paid Delta more than $1.2 million for patients whose files were missing. One patient never received any service at all.

That is not care. It is taxpayer-funded identity theft with a clipboard.
